Baker’s Dines, Park’s Suhl Selected Heart Golfers of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Golfer of the Week awards on Monday.

Micaela Suhl of Park University earned the Heart Women's Golfer of the Week honors, while Gavin Dines of Baker University garnered the men's Golfer of the Week award.

Suhl and her teammates hosted the Virginia McCoy Invitational last week and the freshman shot rounds of 80 and 78 to finish T-3rd overall in a field of 53 golfers.

The Pirates placed 3rd overall as a team, out of 11 total teams.

Dines and Baker Wildcats also competed at the Virginia McCoy Invite. The freshman won the individual title with rounds of 73 and 69. He won the tournament over 52 other competitors.
