
2025 Heart Men's Golf Conference Championship
The Heart of America Athletic Conference will host the 2025 Heart Men's Golf Conference Championship at The Nicklaus Golf Club at Lionsgate, one of the premier courses in the midwest.
This year's event will take place Monday, April 14 and Tuesday, April 15.
The event will feature 11 teams, including Baker, Central Methodist, Clarke, Culver-Stockton, Graceland, No. 10 ranked MidAmerica Nazarene, Grand View, Missouri Valley, No. 15 ranked Mount Mercy, Park and William Penn.
MidAmerica Nazarene University is the defending Heart Men's Golf Conference Champions, winning the 2024 event.
The Heart Championship will feature 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday. The winning team will earn an automatic bid to the 73nd Annual NAIA Men's Golf National Championships, May 20-23, at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
Monday the golfers will begin at 9 am with a shot gun start, while Tuesday will begin also at 8 am with tee times.
More on the golf course: The course is a signature design by Jack Nicklaus and is also the only links-style private club in Kansas City, located in Overland Park, KS.
The 18-hole championship course is accompanied by a 21-000-square-foot clubhouse including full men's and women's locker rooms, fine dining, conference room and impressive practice facilities, including driving range, putting green, chipping green, back driving range and a simulator lounge featuring two Trackman simulators.
After golf has concluded, the Heart will be broadcasting the awards ceremony live on Tuesday on the Heart Conference Network.
The Heart will honor the All-Conference team which consists of 15 players. The 15 players will be the five low medalists, including ties for 5th-place, at the conference tournament.
The remaining All-Conference players will be selected by the Golf Stat individual adjusted scoring average ranking (to be eligible a player must have posted at least 10 competitive collegiate golf rounds during the academic year).
The following awards will also be handed out, Individual Tournament Medalist, Heart Conference Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year and Coach of the Year.
