
Valley Keeps Top Spot in Lacrosse Poll
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Missouri Valley locked down the No. 1 ranking in the 2017 NAIA Men's Lacrosse Coaches' Top 10 Poll for the fifth-straight edition.
The Vikings earned six first-place votes and 97 total points, entering the week with a 4-1 record. Following a road contest at Benedictine, Missouri Valley returns home over the weekend to take on Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.) and Lawrence Tech (Mich.).
Benedictine was included among the group of others receiving votes in the latest poll. Lourdes (Ohio) and Reinhardt (Ga.) continued to hold the No. 2 and No. 3 positions, respectively, while Siena Heights (Mich.) and Keiser (Fla.) round out the top five.
