
Heart Men’s Lacrosse Players of the Week – March 27
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men’s Lacrosse Players of the Week on Monday, as Boston Romero of William Penn earned the Heart Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week and for the second time this season, Benedictine’s Joseph Bianchi earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week award.

Romero and the Statesmen went 2-0 last week with an 18-14 win at Taylor (Ind.) and a heart win at Mount Vernon Nazarene, 18-10.
In the two games he collected a total of 10 goals. Scoring seven against Taylor and three against MVNU. He had a total of 14 shots on goal. William Penn moves to 8-4 overall and 1-0 in the Heart.
Bianchi and the Ravens went 3-0 last week, with a 7-6 victory over Columbia (Mo.), an 11-10 win over Adams State and an 18-7 Heart win against Missouri Valley.
The Papillion, Nebraska native won 53 faceoffs in the trio of games and added 33 ground balls. The Ravens are now 4-3 overall and 1-0 in the Heart.
