Heart Men’s Lacrosse Players of the Week – April 10

For the third-straight week, Benedictine College's Joseph Bianchi has been selected the Heart Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, while Breck Putzier of William Penn garnered his first Heart Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week honors of 2023.

Bianchi and the Ravens went 1-1 last week, with a 17-11 loss to Ottawa and an, 8-5, win over Missouri Baptist.

The junior won 73.2-percent of his faceoffs and added 22 groundballs. He also scored a goal against MBU.

Putzier broke the William Penn school record for assists in a game with seven in the 29-2 win over Clarke. He also scored five goals in that game. He also had three goals and four assists in the 10-9 loss to Columbia (Mo.).
