William Penn Sweeps Heart Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week Awards

The William Penn Statesmen swept this week's edition of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week awards.

Max Taylor collected the Heart Offensive Player of the Week, while Eric Garigan earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week.

The Statesmen defeated Benedictine, 16-7, on the road to earn at least a share of the first-ever Heart Men's Lacrosse regular season conference championship.

In the victory, Taylor scored four goals and had two assists. He attempted nine total shots with four on goal.

Fellow teammate, Garigan collected 13 saves and posted a .625 save percentage. William Penn is currently, 11-5 overall and a perfect 4-0 in the Heart.
