No. 10 . Ambrose Sweeps Heart Men’s Lacrosse Weekly Awards

The No. 10 nationally ranked St. Ambrose men's lacrosse team swept this week's Heart Player of the Week awards, announced on Monday.

Makaile Shaddix was selected the Heart Offensive Player of the Week, while teammate Lachlan Hodge earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week honor.

Shaddix and the Fighting Bees earned two wins last week, a 14-6 win over (RV) Columbia and a 14-6 win over Missouri Baptist.

The senior scored three goals against Columbia and four against MBU.

Hodge had an impressive 12 saves against Columbia and followed that up with four saves against MBU. He allowed just one goal in his 22 minutes in the net against the Spartans.
