Heart Men’s Lacrosse Weekly Awards Announced – March 4

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's Lacrosse Weekly awards on Monday, as Breck Putzier of No. 6 ranked William Penn earned the Heart Heart Offensive Player of the Week award, while Jack Northrup of (RV) Benedictine was selected the Heart Defensive Player of the Week.

Putzier and the Statesmen went 2-0 last week, with a 21-3 win over Missouri Baptist and an 18-8 win over Taylor (Ind.).

The junior scored six goals and had two assists against Missouri Baptist. He then followed that up with seven goals and four assists against Taylor University.

Northrup and the Ravens defeated Midland last week, 21-3. The sophomore had a team-high seven caused turnovers in the game.
