The Heart of America Athletic Conference is excited to announce the expansion of its Men's Lacrosse conference with the addition of four new associate members beginning in the 2024-25 season.
Joining the conference are Columbia College (Mo.), Midland University (Neb.), Missouri Baptist (Mo.) and Ottawa University (Kan.), marking a significant step in enhancing the competitiveness and stability of lacrosse in the region.
The expansion brings the conference total to nine members, including:
- Benedictine College (Kan.)
- Clarke University (Iowa)
- Columbia College (Mo.)
- Midland University (Neb.)
- Missouri Baptist University (Mo.)
- Missouri Valley College (Mo.)
- Ottawa University (Kan.)
- St. Ambrose University (Iowa)
- William Penn University (Iowa)
Commissioner Nik Rule expressed enthusiasm for the expansion, stating, "Columbia College, Midland University, Ottawa University, and Missouri Baptist University bring a wealth of talent and dedication to the Heart of America Athletic Conference. Their addition not only strengthens our conference but also provides timely clarity and commitment to providing a competitive platform for student-athletes to thrive in the sport of lacrosse in the Midwest."
In April, Missouri Baptist University was accepted as a full member of the conference starting in 2025-26.
