Heart of America Athletic Conference Expands Men's Lacrosse Conference with Addition of William Woods University for 2024-25

The Heart of America Athletic Conference is excited to announce the expansion of its Men's Lacrosse conference with the addition of William Woods University beginning in the 2024-25 season.

The inclusion of William Woods University marks another step in enhancing the strength of lacrosse in the region. With this addition, the conference continues to reinforce its commitment to providing a top-tier competitive platform for student-athletes.

The expansion brings the conference total to ten members, including:

• Benedictine College (Kan.)
• Clarke University (Iowa)
• Columbia College (Mo.)
• Midland University (Neb.)
• Missouri Baptist University (Mo.)
• Missouri Valley College (Mo.)
• Ottawa University (Kan.)
• St. Ambrose University (Iowa)
• William Penn University (Iowa)
• William Woods University (Mo.)

The league will implement a nine-game schedule where each team will play one another once, ensuring a balanced and competitive season.

Commissioner Nik Rule expressed enthusiasm for the expansion, stating, "Welcoming William Woods University to the Heart of America Athletic Conference for men's lacrosse is another great step for the sport in the region. Additionally, William Woods University will become a full member of the conference for all sports in the 2025-26 season.
