William Penn Selected First in 2025 Heart Men's Lacrosse Preseason Poll

The Heart of America Athletic Conference men's lacrosse coaches selected their 2025 Heart Preseason Coaches' Poll this week, as No. 5 nationally ranked William Penn University was selected first.

The Statesmen are the defending Heart conference tournament champions. They earned 80 votes in the poll, with eight first-place votes.

(RV) Benedictine College was selected second with 74 votes.

The Heart has expanded to 10 teams this season in men's lacrosse with the addition of Columbia, Missouri Baptist, Ottawa, William Woods and Midland.
