No. 7 William Penn Sweeps Heart Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week Awards

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's Lacrosse Weekly awards on Monday afternoon.

No. 7 ranked William Penn University swept the awards, as Bryce Campbell was selected the Heart Defensive Player of the Week, while teammate Daniel McQuade earned the Heart Offensive Player of the Week.

Campbell and the Statesmen defeated Ottawa University, 28-1, last week to open up Heart conference play.

The junior led the Statesmen defensively, going 18-for-23 on faceoffs and had seven ground balls.

In the victory, McQuade tied the school single-game record with 10 goals against Ottawa on just 14 shots. He also had an assist.
