Lash, Nicholson Garner Heart Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week Honors

The Heart of America Athletic Conference Announced its Heart Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Matthew Lash of Missouri Baptist was named the Heart Offensive Player of the Week, while Aidan Nicholson of (RV) Benedictine earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week.

Lash and the Spartans went 2-0 in the Heart last week, with road wins at Missouri Valley, 22-2, and William Woods, 13-9.

The senior scored six goals and had five assists against Missouri Valley and added four goals and an assist against William Woods.

Nicholson and the Ravens also went 2-0 in Heart play last week, with a 22-0 road win at Ottawa and a 15-2 home win over Missouri Valley.

The sophomore helped lead the defense to cause 38 turnovers in the win over Missouri Valley.
