In the fifth edition of the Heart Men’s Soccer Player of the Week awards, Malik Hasanovikj earned the Heart Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Miguel Roces of Graceland was named the Heart Defensive Player of the Week.

Hasanovikj and the No. 6 nationally ranked Vikings defeated Evangel, 6-1, and Grand View, 3-1, to open up Heart play.
In the win over Evangel, the sophomore earned an assist, then followed that up with two goals, including the game-winner against (RV) Grand View.
Roces and the Yellowjackets went 1-0-1 to open up conference play last week, with a 1-0 win over (RV) William Penn and then tied Culver-Stockton, 0-0.
The sophomore had 10 saves in the two shutouts, six against William Penn and four against Culver-Stockton.
