
Heart Men’s Soccer Players of the Week – September 26
In this week’s edition of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week awards, Jony Munoz of No. 6 ranked MidAmerica Nazarene garnered the Heart Offensive Player of the Week award, while Matias Breit of William Penn earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week honor.

Munoz recorded a goal and two assists on the week for the Pioneers. In the 2-2 tie with Benedictine, the junior had an assist and took four shots.
In the 3-0 win over Culver-Stockton, he scored a goal and had an assist. The Pioneers are now 5-1-3 on the year and 2-0-2 in Heart play.
Breit posted a pair of shutouts last week, as the Statesmen defeated Clarke, 4-0 and followed that up with a 3-0 win over Evangel.
The sophomore from Osorno, Chile had two saves against Clarke and three against the Valor.
