Missouri Valley’s Sam Green, Enzo Carvalho of MNU Named Heart Men’s Soccer Players of the Week
For the third time this season, No. 10 nationally ranked MidAmerica Nazarene’s goalkeeper Enzo Carvalho garnered the Heart Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, while Sam Green of No. 9 ranked Missouri Valley captured his first Heart Offensive Player of the Week of 2022, announced by the conference office on Monday.

Green and the Vikings earned two 3-1 victories last week over Heart foes Graceland and Benedictine.
The Bromley, England product scored all three of Missouri Valley's goals against Graceland on October 18 for the hat trick.
He then followed that up with two goals against Benedictine, for a total of five goals scored last week.
Carvalho allowed just one goal on the week for the Pioneers, as they defeated Baker, 3-1, and Grand View 2-0.
The Florianopolis, Brazil product had seven saves on the week. The junior also captured this award back on October 10 and September 12.
