Baker Sweeps WinWon Men’s Soccer Players of the Week

Two members of the Baker University men's soccer team swept this week's WinWon Men's Soccer Player of the Week awards.

Gyorgy Kamaras captured the Offensive Player of the Week honor, while teammate Falco Dijkjuis earned the Defensive Player of the Week award.

Kamaras tallied four goals and an assist in the Wildcats' two victories last week. The junior also scored his second hat trick of the year with three goals against Clarke in their 4-1 victory. He also scored a goal in the 3-2 win over No. 24 CMU on September 20.

Dijkhuis helped lead the Baker defense in the team's victories over Clarke and No. 24 CMU. He also recorded two assists against the Pride.

The Wildcats are now 6-1-3 overall and 2-0-1 in Heart play.
