Vermillion, Yong, Selected Heart Golfers of the Week

Mechelle Vermillion of Central Methodist and Junn Yong of Mount Mercy captured this week's Heart Women's and Men's Golfer of the Week awards, announce by the conference office on Monday.

Vermillion placed second overall at the Culver-Stockton College Fall Classic last week. The sophomore fired rounds of 83 and 84 in a field of 42 golfers.

Yong placed in the Top five for the second consecutive tournament. He shot a 75 in round one, and then shot back-to-back Par 72-72 in the final two rounds to place T-4^th out of 72 total golfers at the Egypt Valley Championship.
