WinWon Men’s Soccer Players of the Week Announced – October 30

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its weekly WinWon Men's Soccer Player of the Week awards on Monday.

Wayde Roman of Park University was selected the Conference Offensive Player of the Week, while Basic Erne of Central Methodist earned the Conference Defensive Player of the Week award.

Roman scored two goals in the regular season finale victory for Park over No. 17 ranked William Penn University.

The win earned Park the No. 4 seed in the upcoming Heart Conference Tournament. The Pirates went 5-0-1 in the final month of the season to earn the 4-seed.

Erne helped anchor the CMU defense that earned two shutouts last week, an 8-0 win over Culver-Stockton and a 6-0 win over Clarke. He also had an assist in the win over Culver-Stockton. The Eagles are the No. 6 seed in this week's Heart Conference Tournament.
