Persenico Wins Second-Straight Offensive Player of the Week, Ramos Peralta Named Defensive Player of the Week, as Heart Announces Weekly Men’s Soccer Awards, presented by WinWon

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its eighth edition of the Men's Soccer Player of the Week awards, presented by WinWon on Monday.

Luke Persenico of Clarke University earned his second-straight Heart Offensive Player of the Week award on Monday, while Felipe Ramos Peralta of Park University was named the Heart Defensive player of the Week.

Persenico became Clarke's all-time career leader in goals scored last week. The senior scored two goals in each of Clarke's two games last week. He scored four of the Pride's nine goals, as they tied William Woods, 3-3 and defeated Graceland, 6-4.

Peralta and the Pirates earned a crucial road conference win at No. 8 ranked William Penn on Saturday. The senior goalkeeper had six saves in the 1-0 shutout victory.
