Chantz Minear of Grand View and Michael Millslagle of Graceland both captured Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Indoor Track & Field Weekly honors for the second time this season, announced by the conference office on Monday.
Minear earned his second-straight Heart Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor, while Millslagle also earned his second Heart Indoor Field Athlete of the Week award.
Minear, placed second overall in the 60m hurdles at the Concordia Invite last week, with his time of 8.26. That time hit the 'A' Standard for qualification at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships.
Millslagle set the Graceland school record in the high jump last weekend at the Darren Young Invitational with a jump of 2.11m. He won the event and hit the 'A' Standard for qualification at the NAIA Indoor National Championships. That mark is also second best in the NAIA so far this season. He also won this award back on January 17.
