The Heart of America Athletic Conference completed the 2023 Heart Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, February 20 and the conference is now pleased to announce its Men's Indoor Track & Field Postseason awards.

The following awards were voted on by the Heart Track & Field head coaches:
2023 Heart Men's Indoor Track & Field Coach of the Year - Miradieu Joseph - Grand View
In just his first season as head coach, Miradieu Joseph led Grand View to an impressive 2023 Heart Men's Indoor Track and Field Conference Championship, as they earned a total of 163.5 total points, 57 points ahead of second-place Mount Mercy.
Men's Indoor Track & Field Assistant Coach of the Year - Zuva Bvekerwa - William Penn
Coach Bvekerwa leads the William Penn sprints and jumps athletes and under his leadership, his athletes scored 45 of the team's 75 points on Saturday, including an impressive 1st-place finish by Showalter Johnson in the men's 60m dash in a time of 6.72 which was a school and conference record time.
Men's Indoor Track & Field - Track Athlete of the Meet - Isaiah Wittrock - Grand View
Wittrock tied for the most points scored in the Heart Men's Indoor Track & Field Conference championship with his 23 points.
He won the 1,000m run and placed second in the 800m run, while also finishing first along with his teammates in the 4x800m relay and the men's distance relay.
Men's Indoor Track & Field - Field Athlete of the Meet - Luke Nickelson – Mount Mercy
Nickelson placed in the Top 6 in three different events, including second in the men's triple jump, third in the men's long jump and sixth in the men's high jump.
His mark of 14.31m in the men's triple jump hit a NAIA 'A' standard.
