Willey, Williams Selected WinWon Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference continued its spring Player of the Week honors on Monday, as the conference announced its final WinWon Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete  the Week awards.

Leroy Williams earned the WinWon Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week award for Central Methodist University, while Blake Willey of Grand View earned the WinWon Men's Field Athlete of the Week.

Williams competed at the premier Kansas Relays on Friday and placed four overall in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.10. He hit the NAIA 'A' Standard of qualification for the upcoming NAIA National Championships.

Willey placed second in the shot put at the DeBacker Invite with his mark of 16.11m, hitting the NAIA 'A' Standard of qualification for the upcoming NAIA National Championships.
