2024 Heart Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Postseason Award Winners Announced

The Heart of America Athletic Conference is proud to announce the 2024 Heart Men's Outdoor Track & Field Postseason award winners.

Each award was voted upon by the Heart Track & Field head coaches and are based on results from the Heart Outdoor Track & Field Conference Championships held last weekend on the campus of Baker University.

2024 Heart Men's Outdoor Track & Field Coach of the Year – Kenny Anderson – Central Methodist University

Coach Anderson made history for the Eagles on Saturday, as the program earned their first-ever Heart Men's Outdoor Track & Field Conference Championship in school history on Saturday. CMU earned 154.50 total points, over 37 points more than second place William Penn.

2024 Heart Men's Outdoor Track & Field Assistant Coach of the Year – Caleb Drake – William Penn University

Coach Drake was also awarded the 2024 Heart Men's Indoor Track & Field Assistant Coach of the Year. This past weekend, the Statesmen placed second overall with 117 total team points.

2024 Heart Men's Outdoor Track & Field - Track Athlete of the Meet – Myles Ellis – MidAmerica Nazarene University

Ellis had a terrific conference championship meet, as he won the men's 200-meter dash in a time of 21.07. He also won the 400-meter dash in a time of 48.46. 

2024 Heart Men's Outdoor Track & Field - Field Athlete of the Meet – Colder Evans – Central Methodist University

Evans won the men's discus throw with a toss of 50.15m, he also placed fourth in the men's shot put and sixth in the hammer throw.
