Rivers, Willey Garner Heart Men's Outdoor Track & Field Weekly Honors

The Heart of America Athletic Conference Announced its Heart Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Blake Willey of Grand View earned the Heart Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week award, while Jabez Rivers of Culver-Stockton was named the Heart Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Willey competed at the Viking Relays and took home first place in the men's shot put with a toss of 16.85m.

The senior hit the NAIA 'A' Standard of qualification with the mark, qualifying him for the NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.
