
Oxley, Rudic & Isernhagen Earn Final Heart Men’s Volleyball Weekly Honors of 2022
In the final installment of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Volleyball Weekly Awards of 2022, Culver-Stockton College’s Akeel Oxley earned his first Heart Attacker of the Week award of the season, while Missouri Baptist’s David Rudic garnered his second Heart Setter of the Week and Park’s Daniel Isernhagen captured his second Heart Defender of the Week award.
In the final installment of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Volleyball Weekly Awards of 2022, Culver-Stockton College's Akeel Oxley earned his first Heart Attacker of the Week award of the season, while Missouri Baptist's David Rudic garnered his second Heart Setter of the Week and Park's Daniel Isernhagen captured his second Heart Defender of the Week award.
Oxley had 51 total kills in the Wildcats' final two matches of the season last week, as he recorded 26 kills against Graceland on March 22 and 25 against Ottawa on March 25.
He averaged 5.67 kills per set in those matches and an overall hitting percentage of .362. He also had 18 total digs.
Rudic also won this award back on February 14. This past week, the Gornji Milanovac, Serbia product led the Spartans to a 3-0 win over University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy and a Heart Conference Tournament win over Mount Mercy, 3-0.
Against UHSP, the freshman dished out 39 assists and then followed that up with 36 assists in the win over the Mustangs. For the week, he averaged 12.50 assists per set.
Isernhagen and the Pirates defeated Missouri Valley twice last week, a 3-0 win in the regular season finale and a 3-0 victory in the Heart Conference Tournament Quarterfinals.
In those two wins, the sophomore had six blocks in each match and six kills in each match. For the week, he hit .417. He also earned this honor back on February 7.
