No. 1 Grand View, No. 5 William Penn & No. 7 Park Qualify for NAIA Men’s Volleyball National Tournament
Three Heart of America Athletic Conference men's volleyball programs have earned a spot in the 12-team field of the upcoming 2022 NAIA Men's Volleyball National Championships, April 12-15 in Des Moines, Iowa. The Heart is the only conference in the NAIA to send three teams to the National Championship.
The 3rd annual event will take place inside the MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex.
The Vikings are the defending NAIA National Champions and have been placed in Pool A. They will face No. 8 Jamestown (N.D.) and No. 9 Aquinas (Mich.).
Grand View earned the Heart of America Athletic Conference's automatic bid to nationals after winning its sixth-straight Heart Conference Tournament Championship.
Both William Penn and Park earned at-large bids to the event. This is the third-straight appearance for the Pirates and first-ever appearance for the Statesmen.
William Penn will compete in Pool D and will face No. 4 Vanguard (Calif.) and No. 12 Campbellsville (Ky.).
Park is in Pool B and will take on No. 2 Ottawa (Ariz.) and No. 10 St. Xavier (Ill.).
