
Heart Men’s Volleyball Players of the Week Features Two Spartans and a Pirate
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its second Heart Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week awards of the 2023 season on Monday, as No. 13 ranked Missouri Baptist captured two awards with Miljan Kastratovic garnering Heart Attacker of the Week and teammate Michael Anderson earning Heart Defender of the Week.

No. 8 nationally ranked Park University's Eduardo Faquin was selected for his first Heart Setter of the Week honor.
Kastratovic and the Spartans went 2-1 last week with a 3-0 victory over Culver-Stockton, as well as a 3-1 loss to No. 1 Grand View and a 3-2 win at No. 5 William Penn.
In the win over William Penn, the Budva, Montenegro native tied a career-high with 27 kills and had 5.40 kills per set.
For the week, the senior had 47 kills, averaging 4.27 kills per set.
Teammate Anderson, had a carrer-high eight blocks against the top ranked Vikings, including three solo.
The Kirkwood, Missouri product also had 15 kills on the week and hit .480.
Faquin and the Pirates had a 3-0 week, as they defeated No. 5 William Penn, 3-0, Clarke 3-0 and (RV) Mount Mercy, 3-1.
The freshman supplied Park with 120 assists and averaged, 12.00 assists per set. In the victory over Mount Mercy, the Forianopolis native had 55 assists and 11 digs.
