No. 15 Ranked Missouri Baptist Sweeps Heart Men’s Volleyball Weekly Awards

After handing No. 3 Park University their first loss of the season, No. 15 ranked Missouri Baptist swept this week's Heart Men's Volleyball Player of the Week awards.

Miljan Kastratovic was selected the Heart Attacker of the Week, while David Rudic was named the Heart Setter of the Week and Michael Anderson earned the Heart Defender of the Week.

This is the second Attacker and Defender of the Week awards for Kastratovic and Anderson, they both last won the award on February 6. This is the first award of 2023 for Rudic.

The Spartans went 4-0 last week with a 3-2 win over (RV) Mount Mercy, 3-0 win over Central Christian, 3-0 over Graceland and a 3-2 win over No. 3 Park.

Kastratovic surpassed 1,500 career kills last week and is now No. 3 all-time in kills in MBU history. He had over 20 kills twice last week, with 23 against Missouri Valley and 22 against Park.

The sophomore had 140 assists in the four matches last week, averaging 10.00 assists per set. He also had 18 total digs, averaging 1.29 digs per set.

Anderson had a career-high 10 blocks in the win over Missouri Valley and for the week had 18. He averaged 1.29 blocks per set.
