Krause, Culibrk, Sabi Garner Heart Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week Awards

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's Volleyball Player of the Week awards on Monday afternoon.

Landon Krause of No. 5 ranked William Penn earned his first Heart Attacker of the Week of 2024, while Veljko Culibrk of No. 8 ranked Missouri Baptist in the Heart Defender of the Week and Eduardo Sabi of No. 2 ranked Park has been selected the Heart Setter of the Week.

Krause and the Statesmen went 2-1 last week in three Heart matchups. The senior collected 44 total kills on the week and averaged 3.67 kills per set, along with a hitting percentage of .314.

Culibrk and the Spartans went 1-1 last week. The sophomore middle blocker had 13 blocks in the tough five-set loss to No. 2 Park. For the week the Novi Sad, Servia product had 18 blocks and six service aces.

Sabi and the Pirates went 3-0 last week. He averaged 9.27 assists in those three matches. Collectively the sophomore had 102 assists and 24 digs.
