Missouri Valley’s Haden Hernandez Earns Heart Men’s Wrestler of the Week Honors

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's Wrestler of the Week honor on Monday afternoon, as Haden Hernandez of (RV) Missouri Valley College earned the award.

The freshman went 4-0 in four separate duals last week, including wins over Calvin Miller of Benedictine by Tech Fall, 23-5, Zeke Wheeler of Oklahoma Wesleyan by Tech Fall, 19-4, as well as Ethan Woods of University of St. Mary by Major Decision, 10-2 and No. 24 nationally ranked Brande Ledford of Ottawa by Major Decision, 13-3.

The Huntington Beach, Florida native only allowed eight offensive points on the week.
