Lane Scorpil of William Penn Garners Heart Men’s Wrestler of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's Wrestler of the Week award on Monday, as Lane Scorpil of William Penn University was selected for the honor.

Scorpil competed at the Central Last Chance Invitational and went, 3-0, to win the 133-pound title.

He posted two falls and a tech fall in his three victories. The sophomore defeated Jar'Kavin Pennell by Fall in 1:43, then defeated David Vukobratovich by Tech Fall, 19-3 and Riley Harger in the championship by Fall in 2:45.
