No. 1 Ranked Grand View Continues Streak, Captures Ninth-Straight Heart Title
For the ninth-straight season, No. 1 nationally ranked Grand View University captured the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Wrestling Conference Championship on Saturday afternoon, on the campus of William Penn University.
The Vikings collected 229 total points, defeating second-place Graceland, who earned 148.5 points. Grand View finished in first-place in eight brackets.
Wrestlers that placed in first, second or third in their respective weight classes also earned Heart All-Conference honors, with a first-place finish a wrestler earned First Team All-Conference, for second-place a wrestler earned Second Team All-Conference and for a third-place finish a wrestler earned Honorable Mention All-Conference.
The conference also handed out some hardware on Saturday, as the following award winners were announced.
