2024 Heart Men's Wrestling Awards and All-Conference Teams Announced
After the conclusion of the 2024 Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Wrestling Championship, the Heart handed out the following 2024 postseason awards and All-Conference teams.

2024 Heart Coach of the Year – Zack Mullins – Graceland University
Coach Mullins led the Yellowjackets to a second-place finish at Saturday's Heart Men's Wrestling Conference Championship and 12 wrestlers placed in the top six for the Yellowjackets. Graceland earned 148.5 total points at the championship.
2024 Heart Assistant Coach of the Year – Paul Reedy – Grand View University
Coach Reedy was selected the Heart Assistant Coach of the Year for the third-straight year. The Vikings also captured their ninth-straight Heart Men's Wrestling Conference Championship on Saturday.
2024 Heart Wrestler of the Year – Greg Hagan – Grand View University
Hagan is the No. 1 ranked 285-pound wrestler in the NAIA and defending national champion. At Saturday's Heart Championship, he won the 285-pound weight class with four victories, all via pin.
2024 Heart Conference Co-Tournament Outstanding Wrestler – Greg Hagan – Grand View University
Hagan has now won this award in back-to-back seasons. He won the 285-pound championship by Fall in 2:21.
2024 Heart Conference Co-Tournament Outstanding Wrestler – Owen Braungardt– Grand View University
Braungardt won the 197-pound Heart Championship with a 7-3 decision victory over Malachi Karibo of Baker University. Braungardt is the No. 3 ranked wrestler in the 197-pound weight class
2024 Heart Newcomer of the Year – Chase Zollmann – Missouri Valley College
In his first Heart Championship appearance, Zollmann finished second in the 149-pound bracket. He advanced all the way to the championship round, falling to Grand View's Blake Gonzalez, by a 6-2 decision.
2024 Heart Freshman of the Year –Dylan Whitt – Grand View University
In his first Heart Championship, the freshman won the 157-pound championship with a 3-0 decision over Donald Griffin of Central Methodist. Griffin was the Heart Newcomer of the Year in 2023.
Wrestlers that placed in first, second or third in their respective weight classes also earned Heart All-Conference honors, with a first-place finish a wrestler earned First Team All-Conference, for second-place a wrestler earned Second Team All-Conference and for a third-place finish a wrestler earned Honorable Mention All-Conference.
