
Grand View Sweeps Heart Cross Country Runners of the Week for Second Time in 2021
In the fifth installment of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week awards, Grand View University swept both awards, as Morgan Lawson captured her third Heart Women’s Runner of the Week award of 2021, while fellow Viking Trevor Albert earned his second Heart Men’s Runner of the Week award of the season.

The duo also swept these awards back on September 27.
Lawson impressively won the Seminole Valley Stampede out of 133 total runners with her 5K time of 18:35.
She posted a personal best time at the event and the second fastest 5K time in Grand View history. As a team, the Vikings finished in third-place.
Albert, took home second-place individually out of 143 total runners at the Seminole Valley Stampede.
He finished the 8K in a time of 25:17. That marked a personal best and Grand View school record time, as the Vikings also took first-place as a team.
