Heart Runners of the Week Feature Two First Time Winners in 2021
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced this week’s Heart Cross Country Runners of the Week, as both are first time winners in 2021, Radovan Kemboi of Central Methodist earned the Heart Men’s Runner of the Week award and Rory Bickler of Clarke University is the Heart Women’s Runner of the Week.
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced this week's Heart Cross Country Runners of the Week, as both are first time winners in 2021, Radovan Kemboi of Central Methodist earned the Heart Men's Runner of the Week award and Rory Bickler of Clarke University is the Heart Women's Runner of the Week.
Kemboi and the Eagles competed at the Benedictine Raven Challenge last week and the senior placed 4th overall in a time of 26:29.
The Eldoret, Kenya native finished the 8K ahead of 66 other competitors.
Bickler and the Pride took on the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge and the sophomore placed 14th out of 245 total runners.
The Rose Creek, Minnesota product ran the 5K event in a time of 19:30.
