
2021 Heart of America Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships Preview
The 2021 Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships are set for this Saturday, November 6 at Seminole Valley Park in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The 2021 Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships are set for this Saturday, November 6 at Seminole Valley Park in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and are hosted by Mount Mercy University.
The Men's 8K race will begin at 10:30 am, while the Women's 5K will begin at 11:30 am with the awards ceremony for both races to follow.
All 14 Heart teams will compete at the home of the 2018 and 2020 NAIA National Championships course.
Baker is the two-time defending Heart Men's Cross Country Champions, capturing the title in 2019 and 2020.

Benedictine captured the 2020 Heart Women's Cross Country Championship, while Mount Mercy won in 2019. Prior to that, MidAmerica Nazarene won three-straight from 2016-2018.

Seminole Valley Park became the home of Mount Mercy cross country in 2015 and hosted the 2018 and 2020 NAIA Cross Country National Championships. The course, designed and built by Mount Mercy University and the Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department, provides runners with natural park-like settings, mowed fields and wetland areas. It has multiple loops and a layout that serves 4K, 5K, 6K, and 8K races for college and high school events.
