Benedictine Ravens Sweep Heart Runners of the Week

For the second time this season, Benedictine College runners David Mannella and Caroline Cobo swept the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week awards, announced by the conference office on Monday.

Cobo ran a personal best 5K time of 18:52 at the Lou Cross Country Classic. The senior finished 67^th overall in a field of 422 total runners. As a team, BC finished 15^th, but was a top four finish amongst NAIA team's competing.

Mannella ran a season-best time of 25:17 in the 8K at the Lou Cross Country Classic. The junior finished 57^th overall, out of 426 total competitors. As a team, the Ravens earned their best average time in program history.
