Fourth Edition of Heart Cross Country Runners of the Week Announced

D'Artagnon Beaver of William Penn University earned his second Heart Men's Runner of the Week award of the 2024 season, while Alexa Lamb of Benedictine College earned the Heart Women's Runner of the Week award.
Beaver and the Statesmen competed at the Columbia Larry Young Invitational, which is the host site for the NAIA National Championship in November.
The senior placed 10th overall out of 218 total runners with an 8K time of 25:58.
Lamb and the Ravens competed at the Grand View Viking Invitational in Des Moines, Iowa. Lamb placed second overall out of 51 runners in a 6K time of 23:42. She was the top NAIA finisher in the event.
