The Mustangs hosted the championship at Seminole Valley Cross Country Course in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The event featured an 8K race for the men's race.
D'Artagnon Beaver of William Penn University earned the individual crown with his time of 24:43.
Baker's Aidan Massey placed second overall in his time of 24:49 and Brandon Williams of William Penn took home third place in a time of 24:59. Park University finished third as a team.
Mount Mercy head coach Jeff Barker was selected the Heart Men's Cross Country Coach of the Year.
Mount Mercy has now earned an automatic bid to the 69th Annual NAIA Men's Cross Country Championship, November 22 in Columbia, Mo.
Runners who finished in the Top 10 of each race were named to the Heart First Team All-Conference. Finishers 11-15, earned a spot on the Honorable Mention All-Conference teams.
