2022 Heart of America Athletic Conference Softball Conference Tournament
The 2022 Heart of America Athletic Conference Softball Conference Tournament returns to the campus of Mount Mercy University this week, as the event will take place May 5-8 at Busse Field inside the Robert W. Plaster Athletic Complex in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The eight-team field is set, as the top four teams from the Heart North and South Division have qualified for the tournament.
Central Methodist is the No. 1 overall seed, as they won the 2022 Heart Softball regular season championship out-right. This marks their first Heart regular season title since 2016. From 2011-2016 the Eagles won six-straight Heart regular season titles.
The No. 2 seed goes to Grand View University for capturing the Heart North crown. Then the remaining six teams were re-seeded based on their overall conference record.
Mount Mercy is the defending Heart Conference Tournament Champions, as they defeated Grand View, 5-4, in eight innings, in last years thrilling championship game.

No. 4 Evangel
No. 5 William Penn
No. 6 MNU
No. 7 Benedictine
No. 8 Culver-Stockton
