Madison Zaccardo, Kira Baker Garner Final Heart Softball Weekly Honors

Madison Zaccardo of Benedictine College and Kira Baker of Baker University garnered the final Heart of America Athletic Conference Pitcher and Player of the Week awards of 2023, announced by the conference office.

Zaccardo hit .636 on the week, going 7-of-11. The senior hit three home runs and two doubles and knocked in seven runs.

Kira Baker collected three wins and one save this week for the Wildcats. In 23 innings, the freshman allowed zero earned runs and struck out 41 batters, while allowing just six hits.
