Bell, Selvage Earn Musco Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week Awards

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Musco Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week awards on Monday.

For the second-straight week, Bailey Selvage of Benedictine College has been selected the Pitcher of the Week, while Rilee Bell of Baker earns the Player of the Week award.

Selvage went 2-0 last week and struck out 22 batters in 15 innings. She allowed just one run in a 4-1 win over the University of St. Mary and had a complete game shutout in a 1-0 win over College of St. Mary.

Bell homered in three-straight games last week, including a grand slam. For the week, the sophomore knocked in nine RBI and hit .467.
