Kira Baker, Kaysie Jolley Selected Musco Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Musco Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week awards on Monday.

(RV) Baker University's Kira Baker earned the Musco Pitcher of the Week honor, while Kaysie Jolley of No. 4 Central Methodist is this week's Musco Player of the Week.

Baker helped lead the Wildcats to three victories last week and had 31 strikeouts. The sophomore pitched a pair of complete games against Rochester and West Virginia State and allowed only one run and six hits in her 17.2 innings in the circle.

Jolley hit .727 in for games last week for the Eagles, all four were victories. The sophomore went 8-of-11 at the plate with two home runs, a triple and drove in three runs. She also drew four walks.
