Bray, Farris Selected Musco Softball Player & Pitcher of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce this week's Musco Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week awards.

Haile Farris of No. 3 nationally ranked Central Methodist University has been selected the Musco Softball Pitcher of the Week, while Savannah Bray of (RV) Baker earned her second Musco Player of the Week award of 2024.

Bray and the Wildcats went 4-0 last week with sweeps over Peru State and Missouri Valley. The senior went 5-for-5 in game two against Missouri Valley with two home runs and five RBI's.

She hit .615 on the week with two home runs and nine RBI's, going 8-of-13 at the plate.

Farris and the Eagles went 4-0 last week with sweeps over Park and Peru State. The senior threw a perfect game in a 7-0 shutout against the Pirates. She threw 14 innings last week and struck out 11 batters and didn't give up a run the entire week.
