2024 Heart Softball All-Conference Teams Announced

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its annual Heart Softball All-Conference teams and major award winners on Friday afternoon.

The All-Conference teams feature players from across the Heart and are listed as First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention.

Below you will also find the 2024 Heart Softball Gold Glove Team.

The individual awards and All-Conference teams were selected by the Heart softball head coaches.

Below please find the list of 2024 individual major award winners:

2024 Heart Softball Player of the Year – Elizabeth Palumbo– Central Methodist

Palumbo hit .427 for the Eagles in the regular season and had five home runs. The first basemen also knocked in 46 RBI and scored 43 runs.

2024 Heart Softball Pitcher of the Year – Jordyn Ball – Central Methodist

Ball had an incredible regular season for the Eagles, going a perfect 22-0 in the circle. She threw 151.1 innings with an ERA of 1.25 and struck out 162 total batters.

2024 Heart Softball Newcomer of the Year – Baylee Knorr – Benedictine

In her first season with the Ravens, Knoor hit .358 with seven home runs and 46 RBI. She also provided BC With 15 doubles and 33 runs scored.

2023 Heart Softball Freshman of the Year – Nevaeh Randall – Grand View

Randall had 35 hits on 88 at bats, good for a batting average of .398. The first-year Viking also hit six home runs with 23 RBI.

2023 Heart Softball Coach of the Year – Pat Reardon – Central Methodist

For the third-straight year, Pat Reardon has been selected the Heart Softball Coach of the Year. He guided the Eagles to a perfect 24-0 Heart regular season championship and a 44-3 overall record.
