Selvage, Stoakes Selected Heart Softball Players of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Softball Weekly honors on Monday.

Bailey Selvage of (RV) Benedictine captured the Heart Pitcher of the Week, while Kelly Stoakes of MidAmerica Nazarene earned the Heart Player of the Week award.

Selvage threw a no-hitter against Culver-Stockton in a 9-0 victory and then followed that up with a two-hitter in a 1-0 victory over William Penn.

Stoakes hit .529 at the plate on the week for a 4-0 week for the Pioneers. The junior hit five doubles and had 5 RBI's, along with an OPS of 1.380.

MNU swept Graceland and Peru State.
