Heart Announces Final Bowler of the Week Awards of 2023
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its final Heart Men's and Women's Bowler of the Week awards of the 2022-23 season this week, as Jared Smith of William Penn University and Jasmine Saunders of Culver-Stockton was selected the Heart Women's Bowler of the Week.
Smith averaged 213 pins in six games with a high of 232 at the Hoosier Classic last week. Five of his six games were in the 200's. He placed 38th overall at the event.
Saunders finished in the Top 10 at the Hoosier Classic, with her 6th place finish out of 409 bowlers.
She rolled 200 or more in five of her six games and averaged 212.8 pins overall.
Smith and Saunders with both compete at this weekend's 2023 Heart Bowling Conference Championships in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
