Clarke University Sweeps Heart Bowler of the Week Awards

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's and Women's Bowler of the Week awards on Monday, as Clarke University swept the honors.

Shane Jordan captured the Heart Men's Bowler of the Week, while Stephanie Thompson earned the Heart Women's Bowler of the Week.

Thompson placed 10^th overall at the Clarke Invite on January 20. The senior knocked down 888 pins in give games for a 177.6 average. She helped lead the Pride to an 8^th-place team finish.

Jordan placed fifth overall at the Clarke Invite and knocked down 1,030 pins in five games, good for a 203 scoring average.

The Pride placed fourth overall as a team, in a field of 91 total bowlers.
