Skalak, Miller Earn Heart Bowler of the Week Awards

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's and Women's Bowler of the Week awards on Tuesday, as Isaac Skalak of Peru State earned the Heart Men's Bowler of the Week honor, while Kinsey Miller of Baker was selected the Heart Women's Bowler of the Week.

Skalak and the Bobcats took on the Eagle Invitational last week and the junior knocked down 1,069 pins in five games, good for an average of 214 per game. He helped lead the Bobcats to a fourth-place finish out of 13 teams.

Miller took home third place individually at the Eagle Open. The senior knocked down 942 pins in five games, for an average of 188.4.

The Wildcats also took home fourth-place as a team out of 13 total teams.
